I love Michael Page as a narrator. The pronunciation of Greek names and places is awesome.
The content of this book is great. I think what makes a book like this great is the fact that it drive me to read more dig more into the history. Absolutely Could Not Stop Listening
I always wanted to read this book, and an hour commute in the car seemed like a perfect reason to get the audio book. I made a great choice and you will to if you pick this up. The narrator is amazing, his voice is clear precise and his emphasis is always wonderfully placed. I will always go back to this book when deciding if I like the narrator for other audiobooks. Also kudos to the narrator for pronouncing the German words beautifully. On the subject matter on this book? It's excellent. If you want a comprehensive history with first hand sources of the Third Reich this is a perfect place to start. I feel like I've watched dozens of History Channel specials that don't come even close to the breadth and detail of this work. You would almost say this is a one stop shop for this era of history, but it also excites the reader's/listener's interest in the subject even more, and that's what a great historian does. I'll definitely be going through and getting some of the mentioned works! Awesome listen.
