Wow! What a great summer read! This book focuses primarily on the “space race” and all the political wrangling that it entitled. It’s not really a book that is deep on details about science or describing space travel. I really enjoyed this perspective from the author. I didn’t have any problems with the narrator, thought he did a good job.

I was initially taken back by a poor review I encountered on audible. The book is well written and the production is top notch. If you are curious about Bobby Kennedy, I'd recommend this book without hesitation.

I have listened to Erik Larson's Dead Wake and In the Garden of Beasts, as well as Dan Carlin's Hardcore History Podcast. This made me somewhat familiar with the events. The presentation is very straight forward. It's a history of Europe from 1919-1949.
