There's Hope Even if Family Values are Skewered

Book is written in first-person in such wonderful detail. My parents disfunctionality pale in comparison to Tara's. Also, no matter how ridiculous, there's hope that such an upbringing does not have to taint/impact the remainder of one's life and happiness. Everyone chooses what direction their unique story will take after realizing the ingrained family values and traditions instilled in their psyche were so off-base. Tara was one of the fortunate ones who didn't allow herself to be dragged down by such an incredible weight. Great story.

Plot wasn't particularly engaging. Storyline not impressive. Lacked detail to paint a substantial picture. Non-climatic. Disappointing.

So much info in so little time. Though this was released almost 2 years ago, it's quite sobering.
However, it needs to be carefully put into the wide perspective of "the grand scheme of things"...
Otherwise, it is downright terrifying.

Many in the Kennedy family lived eventful, exciting and salacious lives. Learned so much more than what I have previously read. Man, this family was messed up!

Incredible story! Can understand how family feels but also how much mankind has benefited from these special cells. Book did not seem like 12.5 hours.

I have not seen the movie yet, but there was way too much information in this book to be able to put on the big screen. Loved the detailed background of how these different personalities emerged throughout the years.

Though I didn't watch his show much, it was amusing the way he told his life story. We have all been through a lot, however, Craig prefers to view his mistakes humorously.

Elaborating on just one incident was an incredible read. Very thorough. What a burden it must have been to carry this secret through so much of your life. I especially appreciated the very different perspectives from those involved.

This is a book to re-read... but with a pencil and paper nearby the second time. There are tactics in here that are not found in other similar type books.

That was the fastest 11 hours I've experienced. Couldn't turn it off. I feel I had an advantage because I had never heard of this gentleman before. What an incredible read!
