Americans didn’t just go to the polls in 2016. They joined a movement that swept the unlikeliest of candidates, Donald Trump, into the Oval Office. Can he complete his agenda? Or will his opponents in the media, protester class, and political establishment block his efforts and choke off the movement he represents?

Since time immemorial, humans have worshipped the gods they call Fhrey, truly a race apart: invincible in battle, masters of magic, and seemingly immortal. But when a god falls to a human blade, the balance of power between humans and those they thought were gods changes forever. Now only a few stand between humankind and annihilation: Raithe, reluctant to embrace his destiny as the God Killer. Suri, a young seer burdened by signs of impending doom. And Persephone, who must overcome personal tragedy to lead her people.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The facts represented in an nonpartisan way. Even events that were a positive, were skewed as negative.

What was most disappointing about Michael Kranish and Marc Fisher ’s story?

Moderator was flat out hostile to the story.

Would you be willing to try another one of Campbell Scott’s performances?

No.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The information was accurate. But the way it was presented was biased to say the least.

Any additional comments?

Don't waste your time unless all you want is the here about how bad Trump is. Make America Great Again is a much better book. I wanted to listen to this book, but Trump could have given all his money to the poor and they would have made it out to be negative because it did not fit their narrative.

Since the liberal revolution of the '60s and '70s, American history books have been biased toward the negative. They overemphasize America's racism, sexism, and bigotry while downplaying the greatness of her patriots. As a result, more emphasis is placed on Harriet Tubman than on George Washington, more on the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II than on D-day or Iwo Jima. This book offers a long-overdue acknowledgment of America's true and proud history.

Very informative, Very long book but it was worth it. I'm really tired of the misinformation that the politically correctness has brought us. Before long we will be saying the Holocaust didn't happen. Kind of like what they are starting to teach in Brittan(because the Muslims don't like it).
