Picked up this book under the non-fiction section and was caught off guard by the sex scene. I still like the story line and thought the narrator did a great job.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I absolutely did not like the narrator. Her voice sounded so much older than the character of the book that it was just too off and I felt she couldn't pull the story off. I only listened to about 30 minutes and just could not listen to it any further.

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. I picked this book based on the reviews and was so glad I did. I loved it. This was a wonderful story. I wasn't ready for the story to end. The reader's voice was just right for this story which added that much more. I found myself listening to this in the grocery store parking lot because I just couldn't get enough of it.
