Sierra Blake has returned home to Mill Hollows, Virginia. She's lost her job as a hotel marketing executive. She knew getting romantically involved with the son of the franchise owner was a bad idea. Turning down his marriage proposal left Sierra updating her resume and needing a change of scenery. Returning to the small football-loving town located in view of the Blue Ridge Parkway is definitely a change of scenery from the sultry heat and water sport enthusiast city of Tampa.

I adored this novella chock full of fun. Love encapsulated in a budding romance set upon a beautiful backdrop. Mountains & a cabin. A swoony newcomer. Family bonds. Sweet treats. All are there!

Sign me up for a stay at Autumn Hill Bed & Breakfast. Give me a wine tasting & apple picking day with these cast of characters who are all charming, kind & full of wit. Luke sounds like a Tom Cruise lookalike to me & I'm here for it! He's met his match with Elise. Love how the author includes so much detail in the seasons & settings. I felt like I took a tour & that made it even more engaging. Narration by Emily Coupe was fun & flirty. Delivery was natural.

Chasing performance dreams is all she's ever known or planned for. Now, she is starting anew. She didn't expect to be a boutique manager at 31, but it's better than spinning out into the abyss of the unknown. Being in Carlisle has brought solace to her listless soul. Brady Carlisle has recently returned to Carlisle Bay, his hometown. He has spent the last decade in California, designing and patenting surfboards.

Second chances are found all along in different formats in this sweet summer cozy story. Aunt June is someone we all know. Carlie is the gal pal we all need if we don't have her. Brady is drool-worthy & even Thad has a building appeal. I'm anxious for the second book next year to learn more about the Carlisle family & hopefully see fences mended. All the summer feels!

Narration was pleasant & engaging. I found Meg Price calming & yet she had good comedic timing!
