This was the follow on story from The Loch, you don't need to really read the Loch to get the storyline, it's told in a shorted version in this book. It's a great ride, is it real, is it an alternative reality you be the judge. The narration is exceptional PJ makes it feel so real and his accents very believable.

I have to say this was my favourite in the series, it deals with life in a small town which is dying and so are the few residents who still live there. I felt that the words Amos spoke to young Zoe were very touching and therapeutic for the two of them. I love it when you think you have picked the murderer then a curve ball is thrown, great writing. I enjoy it even left me with a tear in my eyes.

The storyline is great and now we wait for the next action packed adventure & revenge to see why the President has had so many people murdered to protect a secret all those years ago. Scott did a great job narrating.

As the Russian submarine heads under the polar ice cap, its sonar readings reveal the trailing American sub and cause the Russians to begin a radical evasive maneuver. This, however, fails, and the submarines collide, resulting in damage that sends both to the bottom.
