It's not every day that a beautiful, naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn's hotel balcony. Definitely, they don't usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she's gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she's a honey-badger shifter, it's too late. Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors.

Laurenston never fails to disappoint. Despite the fact that her books are higher-priced than many other e-books, they are well worth it as they can be read over and over. On the whole, the audios have been excellent as well. This one however, leaves much to be desired. The narrator apparently knows nothing about the previous storyline and nobody clued her in on which accents the various characters had. Rick Van Holt is a wealthy Manhattanite but she uses a common Brooklyn accent for him. Gwen’s mother is given a Scottish accent. Bo Novikov all of a sudden has a Russian accent. I have to admit it pretty much ruined the audiobook for me.

Once a Bear sets his mind on a mission, it's best to stay out of his way. Alexander "Bunny" Bunsun is that Bear. Something's not right with his cousin Chloe, and he's come to Halle, PA, to sort it out, turn his Harley around and head home to Oregon. Until an enticing scent lures him into the local tattoo shop. There she is. An inked, Southern-drawled she-Wolf with lime-green hair. His perfect mate.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bear Necessities to be better than the print version?

No. While it is an excellent audio, they're never better than the actual book.

Any additional comments?

While I'm thrilled that Bell has finally started doing audios of her Halle books, I'm disappointed that she didn't start with the Halle Pumas since they preceded Halle Shifters. I wait anxiously for more audios!

Kera Watson never expected to face death behind a Los Angeles coffee shop. Not after surviving two tours lugging an M16 around the Middle East. If it wasn't for her hot Viking customer showing up too late to help, nobody would even have seen her die. In uncountable years of service to the Allfather Odin, Ludvig "Vig" Rundstrom has never seen anyone kick ass with quite as much style as Kera.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this series after reading her other books, but am so glad I bought them. The narrator is perfect, story line is compelling and the characters just sucked you into their world. The addition of 'Brody Hawaii' was a perfect touch. Can't wait for more in the series.

All Zach Sheridan ever wanted was to become alpha male of his Pack and be left alone. What he definitely didn't need in his life was some needy female demanding his attention. What he never saw coming was the vicious, scarred female who not only demanded his attention but knew exactly how to get it.

Finally! I love all of Laurenston's books but was so thrilled to see she's finally doing her early books in audio. I was a bit disappointed that Charlotte Kane didn't narrate these as well and, while, this narrator doesn't meet Kane's ability as far as 'voices', she's still good enough that it's an enjoyable listen. Definitely would recommend.

Getting arrested wasn't on werewolf Ivy Kincaid's agenda when she arrived in Nocturne Falls, but her life rarely goes according to plan. The upside of spending the night in the local lock-up is finding a hotel room is no longer a worry...but the downside is the man she's come to marry will get his first impression of her behind bars. That's not exactly the way Ivy was hoping to meet her pack's sworn enemy...aka her fiancé.

What did you love best about The Werewolf Meets His Match?

Loved the story but the narrator took it to the next level. The southern voice he used for the sheriff reminds me of John Cullum. A rich sexy drawl.

Have you listened to any of B.J. Harrison’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes...just as good

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No.

Would you listen to Mercury's War again? Why?

No, I would not.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I was less than impressed with the narrator. The male 'voices' sounded as if they were grumpy old men rather than strong males in their prime which really struck a very discordant note throughout the book. She did a somewhat better job on the female voices.
