I thoroughly enjoyed this continuation of Lou's story and I loved the view of NYC through her eyes. The story was brilliant and Lou was ever so charming and quirky. The host of new characters provided depth to Lou's growth, but Margo was a force to be reckoned with. I adored Dean Martin and his subtle yet profound presence throughout the story. I am very pleased with how the story concludes but a little sad to say goodbye.

There's something totally inconvenient about falling for your best friend's brother. Especially when he's turned into a pompous, arrogant, albeit annoyingly sexy a-hole that you'd like to punch or kiss to death at any given moment. After a stupid favor that blurred the lines from friends to lovers the summer she turned 18, Jazz Fraser accidentally lost her heart to Joey Butler. For three years they've pretended there's nothing between them anymore. Jazz is finally ready to move on with the rest of her life.

Where does All That Jazz rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of my faves.

Any additional comments?

I absolutely adored this book! It was beautiful and full of soul-deep emotion. A friends-to-lovers with the best friend's older brother element gave this slow burning romance an entertaining twist. It was good to journey back to the Low Country where life is just a bit simpler.

I enjoyed Jazz's back story as it shed some light on her smart and sassy character. I especially loved watching Jazz and Joey fight the feelings that had no doubt consumed each of them. They were perfect for each other even if they repeatedly pushed each other away.

This was everything I've come to love from Natasha Boyd and i'm kinda sad to say goodbye.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and I am so pleased with my first Tessa Teevan experience. The characters where likeable, the story was heartwarming, and the pacing felt appropriate. The man in military uniform was an added bonus that definitely tugged on my heart. Soldiers coming home from war is sure way to get my tearducts active!

The story is told in dual POV which further increased my enjoyment as I love getting inside the thoughts of both characters. I listened to this via audible and think the narrators did a great job with Alexa and Jase. Though this is a standalone, I am already looking into the next book in the series. (Fingers crossed it will be Knox's story.)

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Any additional comments?

I was drawn to this story because I was in the mood for something taboo and outside my comfort zone. The characters were mostly likeable, the chemistry was good, and the writing was engaging. It was a solid, well-written story for those who enjoy low angst reads with a forbidden theme.

While it was full of potential, it came up a little short on execution for me. I had high expectations for the level of angst I would experience and the magnitude of the taboo I would encounter. However, it felt like the author was hesitant to push the envelope and settled for a watered-down version instead. Where I wanted extremes, there were subtleties and where I hoped for intensity, there was restraint. And then there was that ending...no spoilers here…you’ll have to read it to decide for yourself whether you will appreciate it or feel some other emotion. I definitely fall into the latter category.

Overall, this was an okay read for me. I wanted more depth, more emotion, and more intensity. This was my first book from this author and while this book was not a favorite, I would consider reading something else from her portfolio.

I was absolutely reminded of why I fell in love with Blakely's writing three years ago with this book. She writes genuine characters, witty exchanges, steamy chemistry and hot AF sex - what more could you want!!!The premise was enticing because fake relationships are fun and full of possibility. Not only was a friendship on the line, these two upped the ante because they were also business partners. Talk about the potential for disaster of epic proportions. I am delighted to report this one did not disappoint. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The characters were fun, the chemistry was on point, and watching them try to deny their feelings and follow the rules was entertaining to boot. Bravo Lauren!!!Sebastian York NAILED this audiobook! He was absolutely perfect in his execution of Spencer and I loved listening to that sexy AF voice. Well done sir!

Would you listen to Paper Hearts again? Why?

Absolutely! I love the narrators and I thought they did a fantastic job with this story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Paper Hearts?

Grand gestures!!!

What about Misty Stone and Vikas Adam ’s performance did you like?

I thought Misty was fabulous at conveying the spitfire that was Mia and Vikas was perfect as Jensen. Those Jensen Talks chapters were highly anticipated as the story progressed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes - most definitely. It took me a few days because of work and life but I put aside the book I was reading so I could focus solely on this book.

Any additional comments?

If I were to give a star for every time that Jensen made me swoon, this would be a 10+ star book. Watching these two try again was equal parts entertaining & charming. I am smitten with this couple and I am sad my time with them has ended.

Mia was a frustrating character. Her hesitation to move forward, though not unfounded, was maddening especially when compared to the effort Jensen put forth to restore her faith in him. The history of her journey sans Jensen was definitely heartbreaking to recount and it was good to see her find some closure to that low point in her life.

Jensen most definitely owns my heart. I adored him and his column. Jensen Talks was a unique way to learn more about the man who owned Mia's heart. He was adorable as a father and put forth a valiant effort at winning back the love of his life. I lost count of the numerous heavy sighs and flutters he gave me throughout the book.

Paper Hearts is definitely a contender for a top read of 2016. Interestingly enough, Kaleidoscope Hearts was one of my top reads of 2015. For all the love I have for Oliver and Estelle, I think Mia and Jensen may have moved ahead of them in my all-time favorite couples list - and that is courtesy of the uber talented Claire Contreras. I’m looking forward to Vic’s story in Elastic Hearts, which is already queued up on my Audible app.

Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wisecracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were 18? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.

The characters were so likeable I want them to be real so we can be IRL friends. There was palpable chemistry between Wes & Jamie but the fun and carefree friendship was icing on the cake. I am a sucker for friends to lovers and they are definitely a new favorite couple for me.

The story pacing was perfect and kept me fully engaged from beginning to end. I enjoyed the locker room talk and competitive spirit woven throughout the story creating the perfect ambiance for a sports romance. It was entertaining and the narrators did a fantastic job with this story. Bravo Teddy & Jacob!

I am already looking forward to my next read from Sarina Bowen and/or Elle Kennedy.
