Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

I liked Outlander when I first read the book many years ago. Listening to Davina Porter's narration really brought the characters to life and made the story even more enjoyable. I cant wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Thanksgiving can't end too soon for Victor Bayne, who's finding Jacob's family hard to swallow. Luckily, he's called back to work to track down a high-profile missing person. Meanwhile, Jacob tries to find a home they can move into that's not infested - with either cockroaches or ghosts. As if the house-hunting isn't stressful enough, Vic's new partner Bob Zigler doesn't seem to think he can do anything right.

Another great narration by Gomez Pugh, he brings Victor, Jacob, Crash etc to life. His voices for Victor and Jacob are perfect and he has great vocal range and depth. If you enjoyed the first 2 books in the PysCop series you will love Body and Soul. If you haven't had the pleasure of listening to the PsyCops series yet, I highly recommend this series. Anxiously waiting for Book 4 now in audio!!

Criss Cross finds the ghosts surrounding Victor getting awfully pushy. The medications that Victor usually takes to control his abilities are threatening to destroy his liver, and his new meds aren't any more effective than sugar pills. Vic is also adjusting to a new PsyCop partner, a mild-mannered guy named Roger with all the personality of white bread. At least he's willing to spring for the Starbucks.

Where does Criss Cross rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love the PsyCops series and Gomez Pugh is an awesome narrator, his renditions of all of JCPs amazing characters is spot on. In the top 10 of the audiobooks I have enjoyed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vic, I would love to meet him

Which character – as performed by Gomez Pugh – was your favorite?

In this book I enjoyed his rendition of Cash

If you could take any character from Criss Cross out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would invite Vic, I would as him to share his inner commentary with me.

Any additional comments?

I really hope we will have the opportunity to enjoy listening to the rest of the PsyCops series narrated by Gomez Pugh.
