Sean Petty is ready to quit all of his odd jobs and finally take over his grandfather's ranch. When he discovers that his grandfather's ranch is getting audited, he'll do just about anything to keep it safe - even if it means fighting the growing attraction he has for the auditor. The IRS auditor, Christine Jordan, is moments away from getting fired. Her boss told her to either succeed at this field audit or don't bother coming back. When she shows up at Petty's ranch and he's stubborn as a mule, she knows she can't let his rugged good looks or surprisingly caring manner distract her.

We met Sean in Marrying a Cowboy which was Emma and Austin's book. I was hoping he would get his own book - thank you to the author. Sean desperately wants his grandfather's ranch and Christine is the IRS agent he thinks will stop him. These two are on seemingly opposite sides but boy do the sparks of attraction fly between them. The scene where her car breaks down is pretty funny - gotta read. Loved getting to catch up with Emma and Sean. Can the dragon and the rancher meet in the middle? Both showed great character growth.

I loved the story and read the book before listening to it. I didn't like the narrator's voice - thought it didn't fit the characters - accent was way wrong - in my opinion and that is the reason for the 1 star performance.

Wow just wow!!! The gang is looking for Adrianne - I missed her in this book. Love Nathan but am team Warren to be with Sloan. They are the cutest couple and remind me of Piper and Leo from Charmed. Romance, suspense and lots of action. Wish the ending had been different and hoping it isn't set in stone. If you have read 1-4 this is a must read!!!! Narrator does a good job of switching between characters.

He isn't really a regular guy but I guess compared to Warren's abilities he is. Loved Illy and Nate's family. Lots of love. I loved the narrator!!! Gives me a visual of Nathan!!!!

I didn't really care for Vivian - she was very judgey and quick to push Melvin aside. I really liked him and thought he handled inheriting Sparkles really well considering he isn't really a dog person. Sparkles was adorable and grew on Melvin. I am glad that Melvin kept pursuing Vivian because I believe he made me like her. Love the puppies.
