On a top-secret dive into the Pacific Ocean's deepest canyon, Jonas Taylor found himself face-to-face with the largest and most ferocious predator in the history of the animal kingdom. The sole survivor of the mission, Taylor is haunted by what he's sure he saw but still can't prove exists-Carcharodon megalodon, the massive mother of the great white shark. You HAVE to start with chapter 47 thru the end before going to chapter 1. The latter chapters are the prequel to the first portion of this one. I haven't seen the movie, but I did like this story. Lots of suspense!!

Loving Angel isn't easy. Actually, it's downright exhausting, but somehow she weaseled her way into my life. She has become my everything - my reason for existing - my reason for breathing. I love the ever-loving crap out of Angel Eyes. There is nothing I wouldn't endure for her - even college. College. Ugh.

I loved this series until I got to this book. The narrator totally sucks! It was impossible to tell one character from the next & his tone was so condescending & boring. He speaks super slow thru a lot of the book. I spent money on this one as it wasn't part of the romance package, but I completely wasted my money. Don't waste your time.

The narrator is what turned me off on this one. She over-pronounced lots of the words, put emphasis on the incorrect syllables, etc. This story, in my opinion, should have been written in first person. I will not be listening to the next book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I'm still listening, but I definitely don't like the narrator of the Christine Feehan story. He sounds like he smokes a pack a day & has for 30 years.

Has Edge of Darkness turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, this is my favorite genre.

Would you be willing to try another one of the narrators’s performances?

No on the one from Christine Feehan.

It's 1936. Thirty-year-old Alice has given up on finding a husband. Between civil engineering and mountain climbing, her interests are so masculine, she scares men away. A poor route choice strands her - lost, hungry, and scared - next to Lon Chaney's cabin deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Where does Alice's Alphas rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the 2nd one I've listened to so far, but this was the best one. The narrator's voice is deep when it needs to be, which makes you feel that you are Alice when the men are "speaking."

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alice's Alphas?

Alice's response & desire for all 3 men.

Which scene was your favorite?

I can't pick just one.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It didn't make me laugh or cry, but it's enough to keep you squirming in your seat.

Any additional comments?

Can't wait to hear the next one in this series.
