I've listened in on this material at least 5 times and proactively participated in the several exercises included. This book has done wonders for optimizing my belief structures.
It's a short book to motivate people to think about their goals, be committed to them (not just hope they will happen), take actions, assess the results (to measure the effectiveness of those actions), and adjust their plans until their goals are achieved. There is nothing new about this approach. It's more for people who need a push from someone whom they view as a successful role model get started.
Abridged book so I felt that I wasn't getting the full material packed into an hour. Also required critical thinking and a bit of note taking, so I feel this would be an experience better left to an actual book.
Good stuff. I've always been a fan of tony Robbins, and this is classic tony Robbins. If you're needing a little boost, pick this up
It did not attract my attention and it is boring to listing to someone who talks about himself for 20 minutes. I simply stopped listening
The first 20 minutes he was talking about himself and how great he was. That was 20% of the whole audible book. I was so disappointed that stopped listening
By just talking about himself
It is only 100 minutes and thinking of cutting part of it. For sure the 15 minutes of first 20 minutes can be cut with no effect on the content.
Also, the funny inspirational sentences that is read by a voice of a woman in between. It is distracting. It feels like using a soft female voice to cover the weakness of the audible book. Like people who cant sing but bring pretty dancers to have a good show!!!
I have listened to about 10 audible books and this has been the most useless and aggravating one so far. It supposed to be motivational and make me feel better but I am mad now
This audiobook is short and swet. Tony gets straight to the point with helpfull tips and an outline for changing your behaviors. I think there should be more of his boks on audible.
I am a fan of historical fiction, especially the Outlander series, biographies, autobiographies, and documentaries, etc.
I'll be listening to this...A LOT!! Very good book and I highly recommend to those who are struggling to step out of your comfort zone, like me.
