Strong Women

Arya lives in Gujarat, a city in India. For a bright young woman like Arya Lokhandwala, the idea that she might own her own house one day is a daring dream. Her father has spent his life slaving away selling scrap metal so that his children might jump the fence of poverty and illiteracy. Arya dreams not only of owning her own house but of higher education, a better job, a wider world. She has always wanted to be a Historical archaeologist. She wants to be admitted to a college, but her father refused.

Heba lives in Cairo in Egypt. Since her childhood, she has been very active and self-confident. But her family was not wealthy enough to fulfil her wishes. That is why she had to become a teacher to support her family. Heba writes in her diary every night before going to sleep; she writes about her dreams, her passion for being a motivational speaker.

Elizabeth lives in La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. She is a divorced woman with a child living with her parents. She works at her father's company and helps him in the business. She wants to implement different theories, but every time she had to face defeat.

Bahati has worked in a disaster relief agency for the past eight years; she started working when she was 14 years old. It was because her family got bankrupted after her father died in an accident. She worked hard to fulfil her dreams but was the eldest sister, so she had to quit her dreams and feed her family. She still tries to be a communication specialist. She still hopes for the best.
