Insect Inspectors

In the first installment of this hilarious chapter book series—perfect for fans of The Bad Guys—a hardened butterfly detective and her awkward dung beetle partner must track down a sweets swindler before their community faces a serious food crisis.

At any given time, there are 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 insects alive in the world. These are their stories…

Someone has stolen every drop of honey from Honey Inc. and the worker bees are in a tizzy. Worse than a tizzy—they’re plain scared. So scared that they're ready to quit and leave town. But if all the bees disappear and take their ability to pollinate with them, there will be fewer baby plants and less fruit to find, and lots of bugs in Insect City will go hungry.

Luckily, seasoned detective Addy and her new partner, Junior Detective Dung, are on the case. And although Junior Detective Dung is untested, his enthusiasm, naivety, and very large ball of dung might be exactly what they need to crack the case. If the pair keep their antennae to the ground and their eyes open, they’re sure to find the culprit—and the missing honey!
