agnostic to the technology (to be) involved, the theory and concept behind automation is such an important one in the i.t. industry. one needs to thoroughly study and understand, before embarking on this amazing time and process saving venture, the subject matter and stakeholders in question. you need to become not just a sme (subject matter expert) in your own right, but you need to understand the other facets which involve all stakeholders, so you can gain their knowledge to have that all important overarching understanding of matter at hand needing automating. the art of automation, while simple on the surface, it will require more work than you can imagine - trust me. it will involve sacrificing for the greater good of self and the project, ensure you maintain effective and efficient collaboration, stay open minded to how to make your improvements scalabale. you will need to be the visionary, the architect, the professional, with that well-rounded perspective on how to approach the task at hand with the art of automation!

got an email from my friend ernie yesterday. he is pissed at me and decided to try to hold me and my site virtually hostage. he is trying to phish some information out of me and get me to pay him through bitcoin. i thought ernie and i were friends (tell bert hi for me would ya) but i guess not. check out a quick one on what to look for when it comes to phishing. while the scam is so vague, general and funny that it threatens me for the same information it already has and still needs :| phishing is serious and needs to be taken seriously at all times!
