This week at Box Church, we continued our reading of Hebrews with chapters 3 and 4.

Box Church Sundays are our “Bibles open” Sundays, where instead of rows we gather around tables, open the Scriptures together, and discuss what God is teaching us. Our goal is simple: biblical literacy—planting God’s Word deep in our hearts so we not only know who Jesus is, but can also share who He is to us.

This week we opened the book of Hebrews, chapters 1–2, and were reminded that Jesus is greater than the angels, the prophets, and every other messenger of God. He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact imprint of His nature, seated at the right hand of the Father.

Pastor Andy shared a powerful message from 2 Thessalonians, reminding us that God’s Word is alive and active in our lives today. We were encouraged to be a Bibles-open church—a people who not only hear the Word but live it out daily. As Paul reminded the early church, our calling is to live in holiness, be an example to others, and hold fast to the hope of Christ’s return.
What an amazing way to start the month together—rooted in Scripture and strengthened as a church family!

This week in Box Church, we gathered together to dive into 2 Thessalonians Chapter 3. Pastor Andy led a thoughtful discussion on Paul’s final instructions to the church—encouraging faithfulness, prayer, and perseverance in daily life. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of living with discipline, supporting one another, and keeping our eyes fixed on Christ.

This week at Box Church, Pastor Andy opened with prayer and a reminder of the power of declaring God’s promises over our lives. Together, we continued our journey through 2 Thessalonians, looking at how the early church endured trials with hope and faith. In our discussion, we saw how suffering isn’t the end, but part of God’s greater plan to strengthen and refine us. What a powerful reminder that we too can walk in victory through Jesus.

Pastor Andy kicks off the first week of Box Church with a powerful message on servant leadership, humility, and the dangers of chasing personal glory over God’s calling. Drawing from Paul’s example, real-world leadership lessons, and the reminder that trials are part of God’s plan, this talk challenges us to trade the praise of the crowd for the joy of seeing others succeed.

Pastor Andy brought a powerful word out of Titus this past weekend as we kicked off the month of August together. After spending July reading Titus as a church, this message reminded us what it means to live lives marked by truth, self-control, and hope in Christ.
