Even after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years ago, she continues to lead bike-riding groups in her small village in South East England. She also leads a campaign to gain a million women cyclist by 2020. By continuing with cycling, she wants to prove to herself and others that she can remain active.

It is enjoyed by the various migrant communities as well as the local British people along with their families and friends.

    Parkinson’s disease affects each person differently, but for many people, it results in speech difficulties. Some sufferers become so quiet that they are almost inaudible. However, struggling to speak doesn’t mean that they won’t be able to sing. In the city of Southampton, every Tuesday afternoon, a group of people who are suffering from Parkinson’s disease gather together, just to sing! It not only gives them an opportunity to relax, but also to enjoy their social life.
