  • Oliver Osborne
    Apr 7 2026

In this episode of one.voice, Fabian Kluth sits down with Edinburgh-born artist Oliver Osborne in his studio in Berlin for a conversation about painting, art history, and what it means to create slow, thoughtful images in a world dominated by digital speed.

Fabian first discovered Oliver’s work at Fondazione ICA in Milan, where the paintings immediately stood out for their quiet intensity and their strong connection to art history. Osborne is known for works that move between figuration and abstraction and constantly refer back to the visual language of the Old Masters while still feeling completely contemporary.

We talk about his fascination with painting, his admiration for artists like Michel Majerus. The conversation also becomes more personal when we discuss the challenge of painting his own children and how intimacy, repetition, and observation shape his artistic process.

This episode is a conversation about art history, digital culture, and the question that still feels relevant today: can painting remain timeless?

    Apr 5 2026

In this episode, Fabian is joined by two compelling voices of Berlin’s young art scene. As a curatorial duo, Leonie Rösler and Marlene Sichelschmidt shape exhibitions at the intersection of artistic practice, cultural discourse, and pop culture.

Together, they talk about what it really means to build exhibitions as a team—how creative decisions are made collaboratively, how to critique constructively, and how to foster networks that support the young generation of artists.

Big shoutout to Merwin from Gegen & Lücke Gallery in Berlin for hosting us and providing the space for this recording.

In the new episode of one.voice, Fabian Kluth is in conversation with Kolja Reichert. Known for his work as an art critic, author and curator, Kolja has written for leading newspapers and art magazines for almost two decades and is currently chief curator at K21 in Düsseldorf.

In this episode, we talk about what curating means today and how exhibitions can become spaces that reflect larger social questions. Kolja’s work is strongly shaped by digital culture and ongoing societal transformation, opening discussions around identity, power structures, technology and capitalism that go far beyond the exhibition space itself.

The conversation focuses on how curating can create new ways of engaging with contemporary culture.

Together, we discuss the core idea of art, its role in society and the question of whether and how we can still criticize art today.
