I'm not one to say that we are on the verge of a race war (white vs. black), but if we are, I did not expect it to start via Gofundme or GiveSendGo. The fact that black Americans are finicnally supporting black criminals who have killed white people and white people are donating their money to a racist white lady who called a black child the N-word is a major concern and step back for all of America. And speaking of the N-word, my son, who is 9, had his first encounter with the word. Sad to say, it's not going to be his last either. Lastly, the new phrase going around is "Black Fatigue." It seems like everyone, even other black folks, are getting tired of the rachet, entitled, ghetto behavior being exhibited and praised by black culture. I think it's long time past due that we refine what it means to be black and it's time to change black culture for the better. The question is, can it be changed or is it too late and is black culture too far gone?

A few months ago, my name was brought up to the producer of the tv "On Patrol: Live" as a possible guest host. Me, being the skeptic that I am, did not put much thought into. My skepticism faded when I received a message inviting me to Jersey City to do a screen test for the show!

As a police officer and a Christian, sometimes it gets old being being the bigger person and having to turn the other cheek. At times, it feels like I am a punching bag for society and I am not allowed to respond to defend my honor in the name of remaining professional. Sometimes I get so mad dealing with people insulting me and saying outlandish things to me that I want to lose control and just be a bad boy. However, I have to remind myself that God and my chosen profession has called me to be different than the everyday citizen who lets their anger and carnal nature control them. Being insulted while on duty is one thing, but being insulted inside a business while off duty as a paying customer is a different feeling.

When I was a rookie police officer on LMPD, overtime (OT) was a forbidden word. Now, in 2024, with police staffing levels at an all time low across the country, officers all over America have the ability to set themselves up for future financial success with unlimited OT and high paying off duty jobs. With that in mind, remember this one thing: Don't get greedy and steal money or time from the government like NYPD Lt. Quathisha Epps who is being accused / investigated for earning an additional $204,000 in OT. And on a final note, if you want to ensure you have a great police career and make it to retirement, be weary of these four things: Money, Lying, Sex and Alcohol. You can enjoy these things in the right environment at the proper time, but I've seen many careers crash and burn behind all four.

Americans voted and unamously agreed that it was time for Donald Trump to be the leader in America once again! The American people are tired of being lied to and having their emotions played with and spoke in a unified voice, screaming "No more!" Everyone is tired of identity politics and the division it causes. Yet there are still people in positions of power (Jefferson County Public School System Chief Equity Officer) that want black people to believe that white people want to do them physical harm. Are there racist people? Of course there are. How do I know this? Because I had to deal with a racist the other night on my shift, and boy do I have a story to tell you all about it! Lastly, an LMPD officer who was shot in the line of duty during 2020 is suing LMPD for claims of racism, discrimination, and lies about the Breonna Taylor Case.
