Acerca de esta escucha
Welcome back! In honor of Black Women's History Month, our host Jas Lynn sits down with Tansy McNulty, founder and CEO of 1 Million Madly Motivated Moms (1M4), a nonprofit committed to ending police violence by 2038. Tansy shares how her personal experiences led her to establish 1M4, which focuses on providing alternatives to police intervention, particularly in mental health and substance use cases, through a resource called The Right Response directory. She also discusses 1M4's initiatives, including supporting families affected by police violence with donations and emotional support, and their partnership with ANJEL Tech, a Black-owned bodycam app designed to protect individuals from law enforcement misconduct.
Tune in to learn how 1M4 promotes collective action, drives systemic social change, and empowers communities to create a safer future.
