Today we are lucky to have Fr. Roger Lumbre with us to share about growing up in the Philippines, how God used his initial attraction to adventure (and plenty of food) to lead him to the priesthood, and how he eventually came to the United States to serve as a priest, including time in chaplaincy in both hospitals and the military.

Today we begin by recapping each of our spring break activities. Then we talk a bit about the necessity and benefit of interacting with women as peers, authority figures, those we serve, and friends during seminary formation.

We welcome Fr. Michael Linnebur into the studio to reminisce about fly fishing in parking lots and what it was like to grow up with relatives as priests. Finally he shares his vocation story from living in a home on "the priest road" to a lack of peace about his future while in college leading him to seminary and the priesthood.

Today we welcome in Fr. Ty Taylor to talk about growing up in Atlanta (Kansas, not Georgia), a favorite seminary prank, and his free time spent camping or competing in jiu jitsu. Then he shares his vocation story, which began by simply deepening his life of prayer as a personal relationship with Christ.

We begin with a game of "This or That" to see how well we know ourselves and our personality as priests. Then we dive into a discussion of mental health and the role of psychological services in discernment and formation.

Fr. Caleb Kuestersteffen joins us today to talk about memories from both the first years of the House of Formation and his experience working in radio and TV before getting into some tangents about the meaning of his name. Then we jump into his vocation story and the series of small assents that led him to the total "yes" of ordination.

Fr. Nic Jurgensmeyer joins us today to share more than you ever wanted to know about mushroom farms and to explain how to properly pronounce his hometown of Miami, OK. Finally he gives his vocation story and talks about his experience of switching dioceses, discerning in and out of seminary, and ultimately finding great joy in life as a priest.

It is great to be joined today by a religious priest serving right here in Wichita: Fr. Donald Rank, a Capuchin Franciscan Friar. We talk a bit about who the Capuchins are and what they are up to around Wichita. Finally, we hear how Fr. Donald went from a child convert to Catholicism to college golfer and FOCUS missionary before the seeds planted by experience with a skateboarding friar bloomed into his Franciscan vocation.
