Zunzuncito's Adventure Chapter 8

In this third season, I am sharing chapters from my short novel “Zunzuncito’s Adventure”. This week is chapter 8! Zunzuncito and Monty have a three-part journey: cross the grand lake, pass through the land of giants, and arrive in the valley of snails. They have found the grand lake, but now they need to cross it. Zunzuncito can easily fly over the lake, but it is filled with big fish that want to eat the small Monty. How will they make it across?

This story is told in the the present tense. Repeated words and phrases include lake, fish, fly, scared, turtle, and don’t move!. No matter where you are in your language journey, stories will help you on your way.
