On Halloween, the Station decides to have trick or treating as well as a Silent Supper to honor those who have died in the zombie apocalypse.

Harper and friends finish up their time hiding from the horde at the Plant and help Malcolm find someone stealing.

Harper's group is interrupted from taking a few days break by Malcolm warning of them of yet another incoming horde, this one west of the Mississippi River.

The group continues on the road home, but as Crissy and Micah predicted, some of the people they "rescued" turned out to be bad guys, much to Harper's shock and annoyance. Since so many people that survived now seem to have a finely honed sense of impending disaster, when someone says they have a feeling or a vibe about something, it shouldn't be dismissed.

The group from the Station travels to Missouri to get Crissy's family, and they encounter a lot of hassles - including some kidnappers - along the way. The group thought they'd be back to the Station by now, but some trips are destined to take longer than expected.

DJ Clueless reads the message from Crissy, which includes how she survived the zombies so far. As DJ Clueless makes plans to collect Crissy and Crissy's family, she also talks about the horde and the men that followed. Some of the powers given to humans aren't being used to help, but to harm.

After more than a week under the stress of the horde, they start to notice that noise made inside somehow attracts the zombies' attention, making a tough situation even more untenable.
