About the Guest: Zahara McCoy is recognized as a leader whose journey has been deeply shaped by experiences of sacrificial love. Born and raised in the rural Ugandan village of Lumbiko, Zahara spent her early childhood enjoying the freedom and simplicity of village life alongside her siblings. However, her life changed dramatically at age seven when she lost her father to HIV/AIDS, which placed immense responsibility on her mother's shoulders. This profound loss and the resilience of her family instilled in Zahara a powerful sense of empathy, strength, and a commitment to serving others—a foundation that continues to guide her leadership and purpose today.
