This week on the Zen Perry Project we get the chance to talk to Barrett (Guitar/Vox), Nacho (Bass), and Cole (Drums) of SLEEPWELL, a supremely badass genre-defying act ascending out of Brooklyn. The band has been secretive to the point that despite not knowing any of the members names before they joined the zoom call, we had a blast talking about their well composed rage that simmers into a twisted carnage of relentlessly punishing breakdowns, Barrett's writing & sobriety, and a harrowing story about how a boat fire almost led to being "disappeared" by Russian authorities.
