John Kiriakou is a former CIA officer, author, and whistleblower, known for publicly confirming the agency’s use of waterboarding. He has since become a commentator, lecturer, and advocate for transparency in government. Kiriakou has written several books on intelligence and national security, and frequently appears in media to share his perspective on foreign policy and the inner workings of Washington.
