Just a fun, quick summer time episode this week cause next week its the hard-hitting long episode.

Esmé is back from Canada, but just because she went on holiday doesn't mean the rest of the world did, so we thought it best if we did a round-up of all the goings-on whilst she was away.

Talking about all the casting news (Maybe Happy Ending and Hadestown), the latest round of cabaret discourse and ask the question what is going down at Burlesque.

This week we talk about the classic British musical blood brothers. That’s all I’m saying cause we recorded this on Wednesday and I then edited it the same day so don’t remember.

No episode next week since I (Esmé) am on holiday in the Canadian lakes (I think it’s the middle of nowhere also saw Toronto very nice) so will be back for the week after nexts episode ( hopefully).

ALSO a lot has happened that I have THOUGHTS ON (surprise!) so might make a tik tok talking about the goings on all I’m did call Jack Wolfe as Orpheus on Broadway

This week, we talk about the sound of music, the worldwide Rodgers and Hammerstein classic. talking about the development of a real story to a musical, the last song Hammerstein ever wrote and why new productions don't happen as often.
