Buzz buzz buzz, and welcome back to the Yellowjackets Hive! For Emily's first livestream of 2026 that is dedicated to Yellowjackets and the upcoming final season.

It only felt right to add to the recent buzz and news that's been released regarding the cast FINALLY heading back to Vancouver to start filming the final season, and some casting announcements as well.

For this episode, I hope you've got your tin foil hats ready and waiting! We all still have A LOT of unanswered questions about what may end up playing out when the show returns later this year. So join me in the fun of analyzing, dissecting, and endlessly speculating about theories pertaining to the final season that are floating around the fandom.

Some topics discussed: Akilah's potential fate moving forward (especially after they released news stating she has been promoted to a series regular), a possible return to the wilderness in the present day, a potential Final Destination tie-in, how things could end up playing out for both Jeff and Callie, and a whole lot more.

Theorizing is one of my favorite aspects of podcasting, so this episode was a ton of fun to prepare for and discuss. There is a possibility of a follow-up/part 2 episode regarding theories about the final season. That will happen closer to when the show is back on the air, so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about that when the time comes!

It's such a treat to be chatting about the show that got me into podcasting and content creation once again. It's a little bittersweet knowing that this is the last time we'll get the chance to craft theories and figure out plot points week to week. Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive, and welcome back for another hiatus episode. While this isn't a character deep dive per se, I figured it was only fair to give Coach Ben his fifteen minutes in the spotlight after everything he's been through.

Regardless of whether you were a Coach Ben stan or despised him, there is no denying how much his death served as the catalyst for everything that we saw unfold at the tail end of season three and what's still to come in the final season. He really was the bridge!

We will discuss Coach Ben's character arc overall and how integral he was in driving things forward, some "issues" regarding him within the fandom, and just show him a little love. As always, thanks for watching/listening :)

Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive! Buzz in for the October (I apologize for the delay in uploading to Spotify!) installment in our character deep dive series. We are rounding out the last of our main characters in this deep dive, one very close to my heart, Miss Natalie Scatorccio herself.

Although Natalie was not physically present in the adult timeline of season 3, it's apparent that her memory will never fade. I mean come on, Misty took her leather jacket from that storage locker and probably hasn't even taken it off to shower. Nat will never truly die for MFQ.

We dive deep, discussing her role as a leader amongst the group in the wilderness, the role she played in their eventual rescue, her relationship with Travis, the decisions and choices she made to protect both herself and others, what happened post-wilderness, and A LOT more.

Nat has been such an integral part of the story so far, with both Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher helping to craft such a wonderfully deep and conflicted character. Can't wait to chat all about her! Buzz in for a fun discussion. As always, thanks for watching/listening :)
