Wrapping Up Season 2: Let's Check-In Together

Speaker B [00:00:14]: Hey. It's good to be back. I'm excited to have this wrap up conversation with you in season 2, and I just wanted to circle around. And first of all, I just wish you a beautiful holiday season regardless of what you celebrate, how you celebrate. Do you celebrate any of that. And I wanted to also convey this message, especially after the US elections, how important it is right now for us to continue to find community that aligns with us, that walks or stands or sits or settles with us and our values, and how critical it is for us to come together for one another as well as this beautiful land, the future generations, and also our ancestors because they haven't left us. They're not they're not gone in any way, shape, or form. They're in our body friends. Speaker B [00:01:09]: They're in our hearts. They're in our minds. And so as I continue to look at FSW in the future, let's be very honest. I talked about this on a a couple other platforms. But after the US election here in November, things are very interesting. That's the nicest way I can put it. That is absolutely the nicest way I can put it. And it's made me think about the future of FSW in a big picture. Speaker B [00:01:34]: Right? In the big picture sense, as well as in the minute, or day to day details, the minor details of how this business operates and how I operate because it's just me. It's just me here, as the, what do we say solopreneur, the one running the show, so to speak. So I wanted to be honest about that. Now this is a quick episode checking in and saying, oh my god. There's been tech issues. Oh my god. You know, there's just been things, like, not getting in the way, but curveballs. Right? Those plot twists we've talked about or side quests. Speaker B [00:02:14]: And November was no different. November was no different. I know there's a few other business people out there who also needed to just take a minute and go, holy shit. What just happened here? And things will continue to unfold. I believe that in my very bones. I believe there is still more to witness or bear witness to and to sense and even construct and clarify. But in that meantime, I'm going to continue to do what I can. Now I'll admit, I've been, oh my gosh, I've been launching and, you know, so many different things this year. Speaker B [00:02:47]: I've, you know, I've created different offers and I've been showing up with a 110%. And so guess what? I'm gonna dial it back this month. I'm dialing it back. I know. Some of you might be shocked. But at the end of the day, if I don't take care of myself and sit back for just a second and regroup and get the big picture of FSW in my soul, is we're just gonna fall into January February, and I'm just gonna keep on going like a train. So I'm going to kinda lean back for a second, and that's why I wanted to share this with you today. I'm gonna lean back for a second for the next few weeks over the Yule holiday using winter dormancy as my guide and saying, what's next? What do we do from here? Do we keep doing frequent episodes? Do we do check ins? Do we do different storytelling? You know, honestly, I'm okay with things being up in the air, generally speaking. Speaker B [00:03:45]: Is it always comfortable? No. But I have faith and I know that what FSW needs to be for y'all will be. What FSW needs to do, I will do. So I just wanted to bring that to the table. And even when things are up in the air, we have each other. We have each other even when even when we're told we're alone, even though we feel alone sometimes or like nobody gets us or everyone's out there against us or the people we love, etcetera. We have each other. I've got you, you've got me. Speaker B [00:04:20]: Also use, if you can, at least if you're in the northern hemisphere, we'll call it winter dormancy. If you're in the southern hemisphere, it's your summer. So, so just depending upon where you're at in the world, take a little bit of time, allow yourself to reset. I've talked about this before. Don't squish, new word, don't suffocate your business or your business dream so much it can't shift with you because you and I are always evolving, my friend. We are always evolving. Okay? And so this is critical to remember. We can't stay stagnant in business. Speaker B [00:04:57]: It doesn't mean we throw spaghetti at the wall every 4 hours, but let's not be stagnant. Okay? Because this world is evolving. The communities we are a part of are evolving, and we need to as well. Alright? Let's wrap this up. I'm so glad I could do a check-in. I know it's been a number of weeks since I did the last episode because, again, there's been some tech issues, and so I'm just letting I'm trying to let things settle and, and, you know, kinda regroup.
