Friends and Neighbors we were in Week 2 of our Lent series, The Color Purple: A Lenten Letters of Connection, Resilience, and Joy. Together, we continue to explore the depth of God's love, the power of embracing doubt, and the resilience and joy that emerge from connecting with the Spirit within and around us.

This week we journey in a panel discussion with Dana, Jai, and Phoenix to walk alongside Celie as she navigates the depths of her doubts and questions about God's nature and existence. In this panel discussion we wrestle with transformative power of embracing uncertainty and finding deeper spiritual understanding in the midst of life's trials. In addition, we discuss how the new adaptation of The Color Purple provides opportunities for viewers to understand the intersectionality of identities, especially in the context of faith, spirituality, and LGBTQ+ experiences.
