Darcy Nelson is an emerging performing songwriter and truth-telling troubadour based in Denver, Colorado. Grounded in the belief that music is medicine, she writes vulnerable and honest music to encourage herself and others to live well, give love, and choose happiness along the ride of life. Her gospel background and country roots influence her rich and lilting vocal style and storytelling emphasis on subjects touching both light and dark.

She wrote her first song in 2012 while learning to play the mandolin, and has since been growing as an indie artist and songwriter, creating a diverse catalog of songs awaiting release. The release of her first single in 2022 marked the start of her music recording journey, and her debut album of Music Medicine is forthcoming in 2024.
