  • STEM Career Paths: Cybersecurity
    Oct 19 2022

Did you know October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month?! You know we had to interview a Cybersecurity specialist for our STEM Career Path series to represent! Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, devices, and programs from digital attacks. In this week’s episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Haja Savage-Adan, a Cybersecurity Specialist at Liberty Mutual. Her career journey is very interesting! Haja obtained her B.A. in Crime and Justice Studies from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. After working at the police department and deciding that Law School was not for her, she decided to go back to school and obtained her M.S. in Cybersecurity from Northeastern University. This truly shows you can start from ANYWHERE to transition into STEM!
