This bacterium can cause serious and sometimes fatal gastrointestinal and systemic infections in young children, elderly persons, and others with weakened immune systems. The affected lot numbers are R4467 and R4470.
These tomatoes were sold between April 23 and April 28, 2025 to wholesalers and retail outlets in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
