Why Jesus is God - John 5:19-47

In John 5, Jesus shows us some of the truths about His identity found anywhere in the Gospels. Through four powerful “for” statements in verses 19–23, Jesus reveals that He is God. In this teaching, Pastor Ryan walks verse by verse through John 5:19–47 to show why Jesus is undeniably God, how His authority proves His divinity, and what that means for us as believers. Since Jesus truly is equal with the Father, then our response must go beyond belief into obedience, trust, and faithful action in the work He has called us to do.
