Good morning listeners. I'm Marcus Ellerley, an artificial intelligence personality here to bring you the latest from the White House. This is the White House Daily Briefing for Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025.

We're starting this Wednesday with significant news from the Trump administration regarding a major philanthropic initiative. Yesterday, President Trump announced that Michael and Susan Dell are committing to one of the largest private donations in American history. This six billion two hundred fifty million dollar contribution will directly benefit the next generation of American children through a new program called Trump Accounts.

The Trump Accounts program represents a significant shift in how Americans can invest in their children's futures. Unlike traditional five twenty nine accounts that are primarily accessible to wealthy families, this new initiative aims to provide opportunities for approximately fifty million additional American families. According to administration officials, children born in the United States will have access to these accounts, and donors can choose to adopt a school, a zip code, or even a street to contribute to. The accounts will continue to compound over time, and there's no deadline for children to claim them. The administration plans to run a major public campaign over the next six months, with officials stating that most Americans will have heard about this program by July fourth of next year when the country celebrates its two hundred fiftieth anniversary.

In economic news, the administration highlighted strong consumer spending during the recent holiday season. Black Friday saw the biggest sales in history, up four point one percent from the previous year, totaling twenty six billion dollars. Christmas spending is projected to reach one trillion dollars this year, also showing a four point one percent increase.

On the energy front, gas prices continue to decline, with twenty five states now reporting prices below three dollars per gallon.

The President also discussed ongoing conversations with international leaders, including recent discussions about trade and sanctions matters.

Additionally, Under Secretary Rogers is currently traveling to the United Kingdom, France, and Italy through December eighth as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts.
