Welcome to Whispers from the Wreckage — a safe space where silence ends, healing begins, and no story is too broken to be told.
I'm Lisa, and I started this podcast as a deeply personal part of my own healing journey. For years, I carried the weight of unspoken trauma—surviving childhood sexual, emotional, verbal, and physical abuse. I was forced to keep secrets that shattered my sense of safety, taught to hide my truth, and made to believe that my pain didn't matter. That silence followed me into adulthood, damaging my relationships and disconnecting me from myself.
But healing began the moment I chose to stop suffering in silence.
Now, I open the mic not just to share my story, but to create a platform where others can feel seen, heard, and held—without judgment. Whispers from the Wreckage is more than a podcast. It's a movement for anyone who's ever felt broken, silenced, or ashamed. Here, vulnerability meets strength, and survival transforms into growth.
Whether you're healing from trauma, heartbreak, loss, or anything in between—this is your space, too. A place to vent, to cry, to breathe, and to remember that you are not alone. You are worthy of peace. You are worthy of love. And your voice deserves to rise from the wreckage—one whisper at a time.
