When the Pastor Became the Church

Over time, preaching moved to the centre of the gathering—and leadership quietly followed. What began as equipping slowly turned into replacing. The sermon became the main expression of the Word, and the pastor became the primary carrier of ministry, while the body learned how to listen rather than function.
