When The Tables Have Turned - February 28 2021

The Temple of Jerusalem was a place of national pride for the Jewish people. They travelled far distances just to get a glimpse. Even Jesus disciples "ooo-ed and ahhh-ed" over it's splendor. Yet sometimes the trappings of institutional religion can actually become a barrier to what really matters. Church isn't about dazzling buildings, fancy clothes or silver-tongued preachers - it is about God and His people. Jesus turned the tables and we feel the ripple effect today.
