The Pacific Division has really tightened after VGK lost at home to the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 in a four-point game. Bruce Cassidy might have lost his way with the Golden Knights. We had to question the lineup VGK put on the ice with Mitch Marner still playing center, despite the return of Brett Howden and Brenden Saad getting the start over Reilly Smith. There was a faceoff loss that led to a breakaway as Vasily Podzolkin stole the puck and took off to the races. There were questionable coaching moves and game management wasn't good, especially down the stretch. Cassidy pulled Adin Hill down a goal to add a sixth skater. Then the Oilers scored. But Cassidy then kept Hill in net with over 2-minutes remaining. We also talk about Kelly McCrimmon's comments on the trade deadline and recap Friday's loss to the Wild.
