What's Wrong with aniME?

Doing something the Host promised he'd never do after two episodes on the topic—revisiting anime! Metropolis (2001) and Akira. We get into the nuts and bolts of how the Host actually liked an anime film. Except...does it really count as such? We'll compare it to one of the standard bearers and decide if a self-professed anime hater is able to turn over a new leaf, or is it a case of “not everything animated by the Japanese should be considered anime”?
