Marvin Kalb has a first-hand perspective on Russia that few if any can match. Young Kalb was first posted to Moscow in 1956. He served as Moscow bureau chief for CBS News at the height of the Cold War, anchored NBC’s Meet The Press, was founding director of Harvard’s Shorenstein Center on Press, Politics and Public Policy, and is a Senior Fellow at Brookings.
