Asa's second cousin trapped and killed a possum in New Zealand before discovering it had a baby joey, of which she has now adopted as a pet. They have called the baby possum Milly and they've had it for 4 weeks now. FYI it is illegal to kill possums in Australia but in New Zealand they are considered a pest.
