The main message has been clear: you are under constant spiritual attack, and your role as a believer is to fight back with spiritual tools. But what if this entire view is built more on fear, tradition, or misunderstanding than on what the Bible actually teaches? What if satan is not a literal creature with horns and a pitchfork hiding in the shadows, but rather a metaphorical or symbolic term used in scripture to represent opposition to God's purpose?
