What is Financial Literacy?

This is the question too many Americans have to ask themselves. Every American should have a basic understanding of financial planning and the financial markets, but there does not seem to be any major push for this to happen. Aaron Mabon and I have a great discussion about this problem and a have few suggestions of ways to improve financial literacy nationwide.
