In this our First episode of YADP we tackle the age old question of "What is DevOps?".
Since the term DevOps was coined by Patrick Dubois back in 2009 it's come to mean a lot of different things to different people (a bit like the "blind men and the elephant" parable). We attempt to strip it back and give our views of what DevOps is, and isn't, based on DevOpsGroup's experiences in helping both Enterprise and Scale-Up clients since 2013.
On this episode you'll hear from DevOpsGroup co-founder Steve Thair, the Head of our DevOpsGroup Academy James Harvey, who authored the DevOps syllabus for the British Computing Society, as well as two of our most experienced DevOps practitioners Andy Thomas and Ed Pearson who offer their first hand experiences of leading DevOps transformations.
