Additionally, he trained at MIT, Johns Hopkins and the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. However, when he completed his fellowship, he realized he had almost no training in the business side of medicine. Still, that didn't stop him. Instead, he started from scratch — with no office, no staff and no systems. Nevertheless, he built a thriving cosmetic surgery practice in one of the most competitive markets in the U.S.
