    May 8 2025

It's Friday so that means only one thing... More Facts from Gill and Pete!!

This week they are still mid-Pope hangover and share a few more facts related to the late Pope Francis and the Papacy.

Gill tells us a story literally about the word "story". Pete tells us about how jazz and organised crime enjoyed a syncopated symbiosis.

We also learn that it might be worth training your cat to use a phone because you never know when it could save your life.

But for now we are off to try and get our hands on some of Mrs Winslow's Soothing Syrup...

Thanks for the heads up, Gill!

The episode was recorded BEFORE the election of Pope Leo XIV...

    May 7 2025

Surprise!! It's a One Off What The Factual Special Episode!!

Marking the beginning of Conclave in the Vatican, Gill and Pete dust off the history books once again and look into the strange old practice of choosing a new Pope. Gill tells us of the craziest goings on in Papal history including stories of Cardinals just not screaming loud enough. Pete takes us through the runners and riders in the hunt for the top job and he also has a couple of stories including a parable teaching us that sometimes every vote counts so always take it seriously.

Also we see the return of fan favourites, "Love Factually" and "Chew The Fact" in which Gill has a top ten to share and Pete manages to shoe-horn in yet another obscure Beatles reference.
