Paco has a problem. Mark 4:20 says “The seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s Word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” His trouble is math and multiplying!
Fish explains that taking time to plant God’s Word in our hearts will always produce a lot of good things in our lives. The Word of God is fruitful, so our lives will be full of good fruit. That’s our word for today, fruitful!
You can learn more about Jesus’ story in Mark 4:8,20, “Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!””
