  • The Return: Finding My Voice After Four Years
    Feb 1 2026

The legacy conversation just got personal.

After a four-year hiatus, I'm back behind the microphone - but I'm not the same person who left it in 2022. Between a wedding, the birth of my son, and the whirlwind of the last few years, my perspective on what we leave behind has shifted from "abstract concept" to "daily reality."

In this Season 2 premiere, I get honest about why I stopped, why I'm back, and why I'm questioning if anyone actually "gives a s***" about legacy anymore. This isn't a business podcast. We aren't talking about C-suite strategies or the latest tech campaigns. We’re talking about the "breadcrumbs" of our lives - the values, the vulnerabilities, and the voices we leave for the people we love.

In this episode, I am covering:

    • The 4-Year Gap: Marriage, motherhood, and the 2026 goal to return to joy.
    • The "Atlas" Effect: How having a child changed my view on recorded memories.
    • A New Mission: Why I'm seeking more women’s voices to challenge the male-dominated "legacy" narrative.
    • The Anette Inspiration: How the loss of my foster mom continues to drive the heart of this show.

    I need your help!
I'm looking for 5 incredible women to join the conversation this season. If you know someone with a deep, human perspective (no "big shot" credentials required), reach out to me on LinkedIn or Instagram @Galem Franks

  • Ep. 66: Audio Diary with Galem - Is Building a Legacy Selfish?
    Jan 25 2022

Decided to do something new - because that's what 2022 is all about for me!

Getting outside of my comfort zone, in many ways this year (which you will hear more details about in this episode), and decided to do an audio diary for this solo episode.

The question is: are we trying to create a legacy for ourselves, other people, or a combination of both? Is building a legacy selfish?

Two links mentioned in this solo episode:

Purchase a ticket (make sure to enter my name when answering "who are you coming to watch) for the boxing fight on 19 March at Ultra White Collar Boxing at Troxy in London, UK: https://www.ultratickets.co.uk/events/ultra-white-collar-boxing-london-19-03-2022/
